We have yet to locate the burial of Raymond. Obituary for Benjamin Franklin Rhoades Delta The death of Ben Rhoades occurred in Delta, Sunday morning. He had been in poor health for two or three years, living meanwhile with his son, Leo, at Carnforth, Iowa. He was brought to his son, Jack's home in Delta the Tuesday before he passed away that he might be among old time friends. He was 76 years old last April. He leaves a brother, James Rhoades, of Delta, six sons, Elmer of Council Bluffs, Harry of Farnhamville, Jesse of Cedar Falls, Raymond of Grand Junction, Leo of Carnforth, H.J. of Delta and one daughter, Mrs. Muriel Patrick of Payton to mourn his departure. The funeral occurred Monday a.m. from the Christian Church of Delta, conducted by Rev. Shaw, local pastor. FUNERAL of Mr. B.F. Rhoades Delta Items (Delayed From Last Week) The funeral of Mr. B. F. Rhoades was held Monday, June 23[28], from the Christian church at 2:00 o'clock. It was conducted by Rev. A.T. Shaw. Mr. Rhoades had been in poor health for sometime at the home of his son Leo Rhoades at Carnforth, but was brought here to his old home on Tuesday before he passed away. The other sons present were Elmer Rhoades, Council Bluffs; Leo Rhoades and family, Carnforth; Jesse Rhoades, Cedar Falls; Ray Rhoades, Nebraska; Harry Rhoades, Ames; and the daughter Muriel of Paton.
