Description	:	"The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Wednesday, April 25, 1883 Benjamin Franklin, son of Martin and Sarah Kinsey, died April 18th, 1883, of Brain and spinal fever, aged five years, two months and 9 days. During his sickness his mother was constantly at his bed side ministering to his wants. Frankie was very obedient to his parents, kind-hearted and unselfish. He was very patient during his severe sickness. Being an unusually intelligent child for his age, many predicted that he would not live to grow up; this seems to me a reflection on our Great Maker who governs every thing by fixed and wise... Read More	"The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Wednesday, April 25, 1883 Benjamin Franklin, son of Martin and Sarah Kinsey, died April 18th, 1883, of Brain and spinal fever, aged five years, two months and 9 days. During his sickness his mother was constantly at his bed side ministering to his wants. Frankie was very obedient to his parents, kind-hearted and unselfish. He was very patient during his severe sickness. Being an unusually intelligent child for his age, many predicted that he would not live to grow up; this seems to me a reflection on our Great Maker who governs every thing by fixed and wise laws; certain laws of life, which perhaps are unknown as yet to us, were violated, and of course sickness was the result; the constant tender care of the mother, her weary watching and hoping, and the best efforts of physicians, all were not equal to the force of that terrible disease which was preying on his brain and spine, the very center of life, hence the result was death, a natural law of all human beings; his young life ceased forever, but his freed spirit soared, 'To realms of love beyond the sky.' Mother and father, sister and brothers, do not weep that your loved one has thus departed, for he is not dead, only gone before to make your home in heaven brighter. His young life on this earth was short, but in his home above it shall be eternal. 'O, yet we trust that somehow good Will be the final good of ill, To pangs of nature, sins of will, Defect of doubt, and taints of blood. That nothing walked with untimed feet; That not one life shall be destroyed, Or cast as rubbish to the void, When God hath made the pile complete. That not a worm is cloven in vain; That not a moth with vain desire Is shriveled in a fruitless fire, Or but subserves another's gain.
