Description	:	"The Hagerstown (IN) Exponent, Thursday, October 27, 1910 MARTIN KINSEY DEAD Martin Kinsey, formerly of this vicinity, died at his farm home near New Castle, last evening at 7 o'clock, from the effects of inhaling coal gas. He had retired to his room Tuesday evening, where he had a fire in a hard coal base burner. He was found the next morning by the family who occupy the house, at 5 o'clock, in bed, and unconscious. A physician was summoned, but nothing could be done to save his life. A lid to the stove was found removed, and another partially so, thus giving the coal gas an opening to escape. These lids, it is supposed, Mr. Kinsey forgot to replace after filling the stove. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Brick Church at 11 o'clock, and interment will be made in the church cemetery. Deceased was 71 years old. He is the father of Dr. Kinsey, of Richmond, and of Lewis and Charles Kinsey, of New Castle, and a brother of Mrs. Eli Wisehart, and of David Kinsey."
