Smith on Nov. 21, 1915. She died Dec. 15, 1918 in the Spanish flu pandemic. He married 2nd, Rosa Longwell, daughter of Art Longwell of Alder Grove on Nov. 26, 1919. They moved to Herman and to Oregon c. a. 1936. Eventually they lived in Fontana, Cal. At his death he had his own business. His 1st wife is buried in the Craig cemetery, Ben died in 1949 and is buried here. His children: A. Richard (1917 -1949) son with Mary Etta Smith B. Ronald (c.a. 1922 - ) son with Rosa Longwell Seattle, Wash, in 1949 C. Lois Elaine (1924 - 1925) D. Iris (c. a. 1926 - ) married Johnson, Fontana, Calif, in 1949 E. Benjamin Jr.
