He passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at the Laurels in Hillsboro. Berlin was born Sept. 28, 1937 in Seaman, the son of the late Thomas Albert and Thelma Michael Blair. He loved his wife and family... Read More	Berlin Howard Blair, 80, of Hillsboro, is now in the Kingdom of Heaven sitting on the banks of the Crystal River with Jesus. He passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at the Laurels in Hillsboro. Berlin was born Sept. 28, 1937 in Seaman, the son of the late Thomas Albert and Thelma Michael Blair. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love, a respected, admired man by friends and family, a great story teller, loved gospel music and had a beautiful voice. He loved his wife and family very deeply. Berlin lived a full life, retired from the Federal Aviation Administration, was a pilot, former business owner in Hawaii, and a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, JoAnn Shelton Blair; four children, Janet Ho Dinallo, Linda Morante and Berlyn Blair of Albuquerque, N.M., and Cheryl Hodson of Hawaii; 13grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol McIntosh of Peebles and Sharon Karnes of Pekin, Ill.; and one brother, Linzy Blair of Dickson, Tenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Marsha Mendoza; seven sisters, Rose Oney, Betty Thomas, Virginia Belle Moore, Clara Kissinger, Lilly Hofhines, Ruth Allen and Edith Rowe; and three brothers, Dewey, Fred and George Blair. Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at the church. Pastor Tom Zile will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
