She was born September 8, 1936 in Cynthiana, Ohio, the daughter to the late Delbert R. and Isabelle Colville Shelton. Jo Ann was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She loved the lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking, spending time in her flower garden, going to yard sales or flea markets, fishing and traveling. Read More	Jo Ann Blair, of Hillsboro, went to her heavenly home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age 84. She was born September 8, 1936 in Cynthiana, Ohio, the daughter to the late Delbert R. and Isabelle Colville Shelton. Jo Ann was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She loved the lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking, spending time in her flower garden, going to yard sales or flea markets, fishing and traveling. She always had a terrific smile that would warm the coldest days. Jo Ann was self-employed for many years as owner, operator of Jones Upholstery. She is survived by her three sisters, Sue Shelton (Jim Hamm) of Caledonia, Ohio, Diana (Oscar) Hopkins of Carmel, Ohio, Teresa (Scott) Williams of New Vienna, Ohio; a brother, Henry Shelton of Georgia; five children, Jeffery Allen Jones of Wakefield, Joseph Anthony (Eunice Hinkle) Jones of Leesburg, John Arnold (Sherry Jordan) Jones of New Martinsburg, James Andrew (Sandra Snyder) Jones of Leesburg, and Julie Ann (Terry) Adkins of Mt. Orab; twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She is also survived by stepchildren Janet Ho Dinallo, Linda Morante and Berlyn Blair of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Cheryl Hodson of Hawaii, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Crum; husband, Ava Jones Jr.; 2nd husband, Berlin Blair; three brothers William, Ralph, and Robert Shelton; a sister-in-law, Brenda Mullins Shelton and a grandson, Jason Jones. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Tom Zile will be officiating. Funeral service will take place following visitation at 1:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow services in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230 U.S. 50, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
