Description	:	Barney Kimminau, long a respected resident on the farm southeast of St. Stephens, passed away at his home about one o'clock Sunday morning. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. He had been ill since the early part of October and was confined to his bed since December 4th. Mr. Kimminau was born at Ferdinand Indiana, July 6, 1862 (sic), being 67 years, 6 months, 13 days of age at the time of his death. His father died when the boy was a small child and his mother later married again. Later both his mother and step-father passed away... Read More	Barney Kimminau, long a respected resident on the farm southeast of St. Stephens, passed away at his home about one o'clock Sunday morning. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. He had been ill since the early part of October and was confined to his bed since December 4th. Mr. Kimminau was born at Ferdinand Indiana, July 6, 1862 (sic), being 67 years, 6 months, 13 days of age at the time of his death. His father died when the boy was a small child and his mother later married again. Later both his mother and step-father passed away leaving beesides (sic) him, his half-brother, John Stundebeck now of Dalton, Missouri, and a half-sister, deceased. After the death of his mother, he was raised by n (sic) uncle, the late John Webber. Reaching manhood Mr. Kimminau was married at Ferdinand to Miss Anna Reining and later moved to Nebraska, locating on the farm six miles south of Lawrence which was his home until death. Mrs. Kimminau passed to her reward August 7th last. Besides the half-brother mentioned, five sons and two daughters, all of the home community, survive. Funeral services were held at the St. Stephens Catholic church Wednesday morning conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. Hahn.
