Mrs. Vogler was born November 9, 1928 in Stokes County to Robert Lee and Gradie Alma Mabe Gordon, Sr. She was retired from Belk Department Store in Mt. Read More	VOGLER PINNACLE - Mrs. Bernice Alma Gordon Vogler, 65, wife of Mr. Garland Ray Vogler of Rt. 3, Box 121 - G, Pinnacle, N. C., died Wednesday morning, March 16, 1994, at her home of an extended illness. Mrs. Vogler was born November 9, 1928 in Stokes County to Robert Lee and Gradie Alma Mabe Gordon, Sr. She was retired from Belk Department Store in Mt. Airy and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pilot Mountain, N. C.. Surviving are her husband, Garland Ray Vogler of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Norma Vogler Koontz and husband, Frank, Pinnacle, N. C.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kent Edward Vogler and wife, Diana, and Max Lynn Vogler, all of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Gradie Alma Mabe Gordon, Pilot Mountain, N. C., three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Carl Ray "Bea" Pell, Pilot Moutain, Mrs. Stephen "Beverly" Gwaltney, Statesville, N. C., Mrs Becky Gordon, Pilot Mountain, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlie Gordon and wife, Hallie, R.L. Gordon, Jr. and wife, Mary, Homer Gordon and wife, Gaye, all of Pilot Mountain; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vogler was proceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Gordon, Sr. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, March 18, 1994, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pilot Mountain at 11 a.m. by Bishop Samuel J. Ray. Burial will be in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. Mrs. Vogler is at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home and Chapel in Pilot Mountain and will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel in Pilot Mountain Thursday, March 17, 1994, from 7 until 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Surry County, 1326 N.
