Description	:	Bernice Eilts was born December 2, 1924 at Ireton, Iowa the daughter of William and Johannah (Nenaber) Boisen. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. Bernice graduated from the Ireton High School in 1942. She married Raymond Eilts on August 6, 1944 at her parent's home in Ireton. They farmed near Ireton until moving to a farm near Hawarden in 1949. They retired into Hawarden in 1995. Bernice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving relatives include her husband, Raymond; children and their spouses, Gloria and Henry Unruh of Burke, Virginia, Bobby and Marialyce Eilts of Urbandale, Iowa, Richard and Vikki Eilts of Wakonda, South Dakota, Pat and Terry Karr of Hawarden, Mary and Kenny Van Wyhe of Ireton and John and Lynn Eilts of Hawarden; 13 grandchildren, Matthew and Stephanie Unruh, Brian and Andrew Eilts, Jason, Joshua and Colin Eilts, Angela De Raad, Travis, Tracie and Landon Karr, Blaine and Ashlyn Eilts; 2 great-grandchildren, Jessilyn and Jarith Karr; and sister, Neva Kircher of Hawarden. Bernice was prededed in death by her parents; brothers, Harvey, Glenn, Ralph and Orin; sister, Helan Abbey, Lois Miniets and Ruth Popken; and 2 grandsons, Ryan Christopher Eilts and Kenen Ray Van Wyhe.
