Johns; Mrs. Gertie Horn, deceased. She grew up and attended school in the Bethel community, and was converted early in life to the Christian faith. On November 23, 1911, she was married to Rollo R. Rogers. To that union were born three children -- Roy A. Rogers, Miami, Oklahoma; Henry Rogers, Glasco; Mrs. Ruth Louise Grigsby, Concordia. Through all of her married life in the Eureka community, Frankie Rogers has been a generous giver of her health and strength and gallant spirit -- never missing an opportunity to help a neighbor, or friend, or relative in sickness, sorrow or trouble. Even in her years of failing health she was active as a generous helper in community and patriotic organizations throughout the war. She was a member of the Glasco chapter of Rebekah Lodge. It was at a community gathering, of which she was co-sponsor, that fatal illness struck Frankie Rogers. She passed away before reaching the Concordia hospital, October 20, 1946. Survivors are her husband, Rollo, her daughter, Ruth, and her sons, Roy and Henry, a grand-daughter, Sharon Kay Rogers, and a grandson, Bobby Grigsby. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church in Glasco Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23, at 2:00 by the Rev. C.L. Moody, pastor of the church. Stine-Griffith Mortuary was in charge. Interment was in the family plot in the Glasco cemetery.
