Description	:	Mrs. Maxvold Mrs. Lawrence C. (Bertha) Maxvold, 410 Twentieth St. S. E., died Wednesday at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home at the age of 77. The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Riverview United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Harrison was born June 30, 1897, to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Harrison. The family homesteaded near Philip where she lived with her parents before moving to the Bancroft area. She married Lawrence C. Maxvold, Oct. 31, 1916, at Fergus Falls, Minn. They farmed near De Smet until 1924 and moved to Huron in 1925. She had lived here since. She was a member of the Rebekah, Royal Neighbors and degree of Honor lodges and was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rothel H. (Norma) Fuller, FAirbanks, Alaska, Mrs. Charles (Iona) Burroughs, Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Marvin, Cerritos, Calif. and Donald, Huron; nine grandchildren; one brother, Norman Harrison, Naperville, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Tyrrell and Mrs. Nellie Tompers, both of Huron. She was preceded in death by her husband, May 13, 1975, two sons, Everett in infancy and Elmer in Italy in World War II, two brother, Benjamin and Everett Harrison, three sisters, Zepha, Gladys and Ida.
