Weatherbe, was born in Lincoln Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa, August 11th, 1877. After a long and continued illness of several years, which culminated in a complication of several diseases, she departed this life in the hospital at Rochester, MN., on Wed. Apr. 4, 1917. Weatherbe, was born in Lincoln Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa, August 11th, 1877. After a long and continued illness of several years, which culminated in a complication of several diseases, she departed this life in the hospital at Rochester, MN., on Wed. Apr. 4, 1917. The closing hours of her life were spent in much suffering, but she struggled bravely with much hope and determination for life until the very end. She was united in marriage, Dec. 21, 1898, with Rush Bricker, and for several years they resided on their farm near Ladora, Iowa. To them were born three children, two daughters, Isabelle and Ruth, and a son, George, who died in infancy. Those present at the time of her death were her daughters and her sister, Mrs. Mollie Breniman, with her husband, Fred. Beside the immediate family, the departed is survived by her mother Mrs. S.O. Weatherbe, two sisters, Mrs. Mollie B. Breniman of Brooklyn, Iowa, and Mrs. Robert L. Windsor of San Francisco, CA., and a brother W. N. Gaumer of Manilla, IA. For many years, she has belonged to the M.E. Church in Victor, Iowa. The funeral was held in the Victor Methodist church on Friday, April 6, 1917, at 2:30 p.m. Interment was made in the IOOF cemetery.
