Description	:	Bertha M. (Bea) Kaiser, 99, of the Shell Rock Care Center and formerly of Waverly, died Saturday, May 28 at the Care Center of natural causes. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., May 31, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly, with burial in Harlington Cemetery. Bertha was born Dec. 3, 1894, in Peru, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Louise Phillips Giesler. The family moved to Waverly, where she attended school. (Bea) Kaiser, 99, of the Shell Rock Care Center and formerly of Waverly, died Saturday, May 28 at the Care Center of natural causes. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., May 31, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly, with burial in Harlington Cemetery. Bertha was born Dec. 3, 1894, in Peru, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Louise Phillips Giesler. The family moved to Waverly, where she attended school. On Sept. 4, 1912, she was married to William Kaiser in Waverly. They lived in Waverly where he owned and operated Kaiser's car dealership. He died Feb. 6, 1957, and following his death, Bea lived with her step-son Vernie Kaiser. He died in 1977 and she became a resident of the Care Center. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly. In addition to her husband and step-son, she was preceded in death by four brothers, George, William, Henry and Fred Giesler; and four sisters, Ida Hundley, Anna Flugga, Louise Schaeffer and Marie Corwin. She is survived by serveral nieces and nephews. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, had charge of services. Memorials may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly.
