Description	:	Bertha M. Fredrickson, 88, of Fort Shaw, mother of Mrs. John F. Griffith of 1847 Alderson Ave., died Wednesday in Billings. She and her husband, Charles W. Fredrickson, had been visiting a few weeks in Billings. She had been a nurse in Butte and Philipsburg. When her husband, a railroad engineer, retired in 1952, they moved to Fort Shaw. Read More	Bertha M. Fredrickson, 88, of Fort Shaw, mother of Mrs. John F. Griffith of 1847 Alderson Ave., died Wednesday in Billings. She and her husband, Charles W. Fredrickson, had been visiting a few weeks in Billings. She had been a nurse in Butte and Philipsburg. When her husband, a railroad engineer, retired in 1952, they moved to Fort Shaw. She was born Dec. 21, 1888, in Philipsburg, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hickey. She took her nurses training in Great Falls. She was married June 24, 1913, in Butte. She was a member of the Columbus Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, Catholic Daughters of Isabella, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Auxiliary, and Sons and Daughters of Montana Pioneers. Survivors include the widower of Fort Shaw; a son, Charles Fredrickson of Salem, Ore.; another daughter, Mrs. Donald Gould of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Schweikert of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Nora Bumgarner of Philipsburg; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Michelotti-Sawyers West Chapel. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
