Description	:	Rose Bertha Fauser, daughter of Godfried and Ann (sic) Fauser, was born April 10, 1885, in New York City, New York, and died at her home in Fontanelle, Iowa, on Saturday, October 12, 1935, at 9 o'clock a.m. On January 15, 1911, she was married to Jurgen George Bohling, and to this union were born four children, Henry, George, Anna and Mildred. Read More	Rose Bertha Fauser, daughter of Godfried and Ann (sic) Fauser, was born April 10, 1885, in New York City, New York, and died at her home in Fontanelle, Iowa, on Saturday, October 12, 1935, at 9 o'clock a.m. On January 15, 1911, she was married to Jurgen George Bohling, and to this union were born four children, Henry, George, Anna and Mildred. Anna died at the age of four. In the spring of 1911 Mr. and Mrs. Bohling came to Adair county, Iowa, and settled on what is known as the Bohling farm, 3 ½ miles southeast of Fontanelle. In January 1917, Mr. Bohling went to Chicago to work. Soon afterward he was taken sick and sent for his family to come to him. They went in September of that year. His condition became worse and other members of the family were sick. Her mother then went to assist them. Shortly afterward Mr. Bohling died and on the following day the daughter, Anna, breathed her last. In 1919 the remaining members of the family returned to Fontanelle, where they have lived ever since. Mrs. Bohling turned to the Lord when a girl 15 years old and joined the Memorial church in New York City. Later she and her family united with the Methodist church in Fontanelle, of which she remained a faithful member until the time of her death. Mrs. Bohling has been a worker at physical labor ever since she was a very young girl, especially during her years of widowhood, that she might keep her children in school until they could complete their educations. She was a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor and greatly respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed in the home and in the community of Fontanelle. The family greatly appreciates the great kindness and help of neighbors and friends. Especially do they remember with deep gratitude those businessmen and others of the town of Fontanelle who helped them return here from Chicago. Mrs. Bohling leaves to mourn her departure, her aged mother, Mrs. Anna Albesser, her sons Henry and George, her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Brandon, and husband; her brother-in-law, Herman Bohling, three nephews and nieces, besides many friends and neighbors.
