Description	:	Bessie Adelia Seegar Hoevel Ansell Hamilton, 89, who had been a resident of the Moran Manor the past year, died this morning, September 11, 1978 at the Allen County Hospital. She was born January 25, 1889, in Jacksonville, Illinois, and married Harry L. Ansell in Oskaloosa, Iowa on October 14, 1903. They cam to Iola in 1910 and then moved to a farm north of La Harpe in 1923. In 1932 they made their home in La Harpe. Mr. Ansell died in 1946. She married John A. Read More	Bessie Adelia Seegar Hoevel Ansell Hamilton, 89, who had been a resident of the Moran Manor the past year, died this morning, September 11, 1978 at the Allen County Hospital. She was born January 25, 1889, in Jacksonville, Illinois, and married Harry L. Ansell in Oskaloosa, Iowa on October 14, 1903. They cam to Iola in 1910 and then moved to a farm north of La Harpe in 1923. In 1932 they made their home in La Harpe. Mr. Ansell died in 1946. She married John A. Hamilton October 14, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1951. Mrs. Hamilton had made her home in Iola the past several years and resided with a son, Carl “Bus” Ansell, in Elsmore for a year before entering the nursing home. Survivors include two sons, Howard Ansell of Neosho Falls and Carl Ansell of Elsmore; three daughters, Helen Boyd of Garnett, Beatrice Willits of Bronson and Maxine Engelhardt of Wichita; 12 grand-children and 21 great-grandchildren. A son, Elmer Ansell, preceded her in death.
