Description	:	Bessie Bugh, lifetime resident Mrs. Bessie I. Bugh, 79, of Cherokee died Monday evening in Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Her home was at 621 W. Willow St. She had been a resident of Cherokee all her life. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Boothby Funeral Home. The Rev. Leonard Rowse will officiate. She was born April 16, 1905 at Cherokee. She worked at the Cherokee Metal Health Institute for 17 ½ years, retiring int 1967. She was affiliated with St. Paul’s United Methodist church, was a 50-year Rebekah, member of Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs militant and charter member of Ladies Encampment Auxiliary. Survivors include one son, Jim Bugh, Cherokee; four daughters, Mrs. Buster (Dorothy) Jenness, Cherokee; Mrs. Clifford (Marion) Vannatta, Sioux City, Mrs. Norman (Marjorie) Tedemanson, Rembrandt, and Mrs. Cecil (Marguerite) Lovell, Antioch, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
