Description	:	Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 20, for Mrs. Arthur Rohwer, 67, who died July 17 at the Plainview General Hospital. She had been ill about three years. The rites were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kenneth Jacobson of Plainview officiating. Mrs. Ronald Nielsen was organist. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Bessie Mae Ober, daughter of Dave and Dora Ober, was born Oct. 14, 1902, at Meadow Grove. She attended school in the Merrillville community, Bloomfield High School and Wayne State College. She taught in rural schools in Knox County. She married Arthur Rohwer on Dec. 25, 1925 at the Methodist parsonage in Bloomfield. They farmed in the Bloomfield community until 1952, then in the Creighton community. They moved into Creighton in August of 1969. Mrs. Rohwer was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Jean) Ehrenberg and Mrs. Blayne (Donna) Doerr of Creighton and Mrs. Kenneth (Charlene) Johnson of Iowa; two sons, Eldon of Broken Arrow, Ok. and Allen of Creighton; 19 grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Ober of Bloomfield and two sisters, Elva Anders and Margaret of Bloomfield. Her parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
