Mrs. Tulk, who formerly lived in the Plevna community, was born in Knox county, March 21, 1882, a daughter of John William and Amanda McCall Thomas. Her marriage took place June 17, 1917. Her husband died Nov. 8, 1946. She was a member of the Plevna Methodist church. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mort (Blanche) Van Osdol of Plevna.
