Description	:	Beth Ann "Betty" Martinson, 90, of Billings, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home with her family at her side. The daughter of Michael and Catherine Hauk, Betty was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Terry, Mont. She married Walter H. Martinson in Miles City Jan. 3, 1941. Read More	Beth Ann "Betty" Martinson, 90, of Billings, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home with her family at her side. The daughter of Michael and Catherine Hauk, Betty was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Terry, Mont. She married Walter H. Martinson in Miles City Jan. 3, 1941. During WWII they lived in Florida while Walter served in the Navy. Following his discharge they returned to Billings where they operated a family business for 50 years. Betty later operated a home day care. Betty loved to dance, enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family. Walter preceded her in death, Feb. 2, 1995. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Catherine and Mike Hauk; two sons, Bruce and Jerris; daughter-in-law Vicki Martinson; son-in-law Michael Spelman; two brothers, Buck and Micky; two sisters, Lucy and Pearl; and a grandson Bryan Martinson. Survivors include three daughters, Donna (Russ) Neuheardt of Billings, Vickie Spelman of Red Lodge, and Debbie (Greg) Turner of Billings; brother Don Hauk; two sisters, Catherine "Peaches" Feldman and Karol Willardson; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. The family extends their sincere heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home for the excellent care provided to Betty. Vigil services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. The funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with rite of committal in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Special Olympics.
