Description	:	Beth K. Gellatly, 92, of Wolbach died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley. Beth was born Dec. 12, 1917, at Aurora to Gideon and Katheryn (Cooper) Zehr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Gellatly, on Aug. 2, 1993. Read More	Beth K. Gellatly, 92, of Wolbach died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley. Beth was born Dec. 12, 1917, at Aurora to Gideon and Katheryn (Cooper) Zehr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Gellatly, on Aug. 2, 1993. Survivors are: son and daughter-in-law, Drue and Minnie Gellatly of Wolbach; grandsons, William of Rudioso, N.M., Sean and wife, Jackie, of Grand Island, Travis and wife, Renae, of Omaha; granddaughter, Farra Gellatly of Wolbach; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob and Evan Gellatly, Raegan, Hannah and Dax Gellatly, Cooper and Landen Gellatly and Ava Gellatly and a host of friends and relatives. She attended country school at Badger School and graduated from Stockham High School in 1935. Beth was united in marriage to Ezra Gellatly, her high school sweetheart on Nov. 7, 1940, at Eugene, Ore. Ezra was in the Army Corp at the time. Their son, Drue was born in Bend, Ore., in 1943. After Ezra's discharge the family moved back to Stockham to make their home. Beth worked for Steele's Rexall Drug in Aurora for 20 years. They then moved to Wolbach in 1983. After her husband died she enjoyed spending time with her buddies, Mary, Vivian, Darlene, June and others. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved to sew and quilt until her eye sight failed her. She liked her flowers and was always willing to help Drue in his garden, when she could. She was a member of the Ray Mapes American Legion Auxiliary Post 236 of Wolbach, a Gold Star sister and a former member of the Presbyterian Church at Stockham. Beth was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry, Don and Keith Zehr and her best friend, Marlyn Jacobsen. Published in The Grand Island Independent on 8/3/2010
