Description	:	Beth Pauline Bloom, 94 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Holdrege Memorial Homes. Beth was born June 11, 1916 on the family farm north of Oxford, in Harlan County, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Mary (Daniels) Hindenach. Beth received her primary education from District #51 in Harlan County and then graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1933. Read More	Beth Pauline Bloom, 94 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Holdrege Memorial Homes. Beth was born June 11, 1916 on the family farm north of Oxford, in Harlan County, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Mary (Daniels) Hindenach. Beth received her primary education from District #51 in Harlan County and then graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1933. Beth then pursued higher education at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska to receive her teaching credentials. She taught in rural Gosper County, Mascot Consolidated School and the Oxford Community School. On November 30, 1940 she was united in marriage to Stanton M. Bloom and they made their home on a farm near Mascot. In 1988, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanton. In November of 1993, Beth moved to Holdrege and resided in her home until moving to Holdrege Memorial Homes in November of 2004. Beth was an active member in the Mascot Evangelical United Brethren Church and the First Baptist Church in Oxford. She served as a Sunday School teacher, was Bible School and Sunday School Superintendent and worked with the ABW Mission Group. After moving to Holdrege, Beth transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church, where she was an ABW Ministries and Circle member. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter AF in Oxford, and Chapter H in Holdrege. She took part in the Oxford Woman's Club and the Walker Post Manor Auxiliary and volunteer at Holdrege Memorial Homes. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Ella Marie Walker and one sister in infancy; and nephew-in-law, Michael McClain. Neth leaves to mourn her passing her nieces: Diane McClain of Lincoln, Nebraska and Nancy Ambrose and her husband, David of Holmes Beach, Florida; brother-in-law: Dr. Oscar C. Walker of Holmes Beach; great-nephew, Ryan McClain of Lincoln and a host of relatives and friends.
