Description	:	AUGUSTA - Betty Ann Boucher, 70, of Sidney, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at the Maine Veterans Nursing Home in Augusta. She was born in Farmington on Feb. 14, 1934, a daughter of Walter and Lydia (Ladd) Drummond. Betty was a devoted wife and mother, very much loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed the simplicity of life, caring for her home, enjoying the company of her grandchildren, gardening, reading, and bird watching in the beauty of nature that surrounded her home. Read More	AUGUSTA - Betty Ann Boucher, 70, of Sidney, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at the Maine Veterans Nursing Home in Augusta. She was born in Farmington on Feb. 14, 1934, a daughter of Walter and Lydia (Ladd) Drummond. Betty was a devoted wife and mother, very much loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed the simplicity of life, caring for her home, enjoying the company of her grandchildren, gardening, reading, and bird watching in the beauty of nature that surrounded her home. Her husband, Roland, was the love of her life and her best friend. During her lengthy battle with cancer, her faith in Jesus Christ was her source of strength, comfort and peace. It was in this quiet peace she left this world and entered her heavenly home. She will be greatly missed but her memory will live on in our hearts. She was predeceased by a sister, Mercedes Hasty. Surviving along with her husband, Roland Boucher of Sidney, are two sons, Paul Boucher and his wife, Cheryl, of Clinton and John Boucher of Sidney; two daughters, Lori A. Jackson and her husband, Lenny, of Oakland and Lisa J. Boucher of Bridgeport, Conn.; two brothers, Walter Drummond II and his wife, Carol, of Middlesex, N.J., and Stephen Drummond and his wife, Anne, of Jay; two sisters, Althea Haskell and her husband, Windsor, of Fairfield, and Laurel McCommic and her husband, Leroy, of Clinton; six grandchildren, Amy Bell and her husband, Gregory, Kathryn Jackson, Krista, Nikki, Melinda Lane, and Kevin Boucher; and a great-grandson, Samuel Bell.
