Description	:	Betty J. Lindstrom, 76, of Overton died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Betty was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Beaver Crossing to Frank and Edith (Kuester) Hansen. On Aug. 2, 1953, she married Don Lindstrom in Beaver Crossing. Survivors are: her husband; daughter, Lee Bals and her husband, Mark, of Overton; grandson, Mark J. Bals and his fiancée, Thereasa Longbine, of Overton; and granddaughter, Betsy Buralkin and her husband, Brandon, of Kearney and a host of friends and relatives. Lindstrom, 76, of Overton died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Betty was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Beaver Crossing to Frank and Edith (Kuester) Hansen. On Aug. 2, 1953, she married Don Lindstrom in Beaver Crossing. Survivors are: her husband; daughter, Lee Bals and her husband, Mark, of Overton; grandson, Mark J. Bals and his fiancée, Thereasa Longbine, of Overton; and granddaughter, Betsy Buralkin and her husband, Brandon, of Kearney and a host of friends and relatives. She graduated from Beaver Crossing High School in 1952. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan College in Lincoln for two years. After school, Betty taught elementary school at a country school near Gresham and then in Surprise. She and her husband lived in Arkansas for 20 years and then moved to Overton in 2001. She and Don would travel to Wyoming and help put up hay on several ranches. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking and canning.
