Betty was born March 8, 1938 to Sidney Eugene and Rose Ellen (Smith) Jordan in Saline County, Missouri. Betty attended Grand Pass, Missouri Schools. Read More	Betty Jane (Jordan) Hambrick, age 73, of Waverly, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. Betty was born March 8, 1938 to Sidney Eugene and Rose Ellen (Smith) Jordan in Saline County, Missouri. Betty attended Grand Pass, Missouri Schools. On April 9, 1955, Betty Jane married the love of her life, Donald H. Hambrick, who preceded her in death August 2009. To this union, they were blessed with four children. Betty was a homemaker and a cook for Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, hummingbirds, the outdoors, carpentry work and bingo. She was a Methodist by faith. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Jane (Hambrick) Hamblen of Waverly, Missouri; five grandchildren, Chad Hamblen and wife, Christine of Waverly, Missouri, Scott Hamblen and wife, Stacey of Dover, Missouri, Tara (Hamblen) Fain and husband, Jason of Waverly, Missouri, Dusty Hambrick of Carrollton, Missouri, Kelsey Hambrick of Sedalia, Missouri, and two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Lilly Fain of Waverly, Missouri. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Hambrick, her son Donald "Donnie" Eugene Hambrick on April 24, 2010, one daughter, born and died Feb 21, 1960,and son Kevin Lee, born and died Nov 23, 1964, one brother Bernie "BG" Guy Jordan , and one sister, Margie (Jordan) Turner. The family suggested that contributions be made to the family's choice in memory of Betty, and could be left at, or mailed to Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 N.65 Hwy., Carrollton, MO 64633. Visitation was held Monday, October 17, 2011 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at Grand Pass Methodist Church in Grand Pass, Missouri. Funeral services to follow, starting at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Krystal Carr officiating. Burial will be at Grand Pass Community Cemetery, Grand Pass, MO. Betty will be remembered by her love for her family, facing circumstance with strength, and greeting joy with her unforgetable, lingering, laughter.
