She was born March 8, 1928, in Wapello County, Iowa, to Charles Henry and Rosa Thompson Breckenridge. She married Kenneth L. Goudy July 31, 1949. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 2008, just following their 59th wedding anniversary. A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1944, she had worked at the Warehouse Market, retiring in 1989. (Linda) Goudy of Ottumwa; a daughter Dianna (Dwight) Strupp of Sigourney; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (Verl) Williams of Portland, Ore., and Donna Wiggins of Hedrick. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Wilma Peterson and a brother, Keith Breckenridge. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Stateler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the McCreery Cancer Center. Ottumwa Courier, September 25, 2009
