Description	:	Daughter of George and Johanna (Seidel) Supencheck. She attended rural Nance County Schools. On May 15, 1950, she married Raymond W. Dubas at St. Peters Catholic Church in Fullerton. They lived and farmed north of Fullerton. Betty was employed at Clara's Café in Fullerton for several years and devoted her life to helping her husband on the family farm and raising five children. She took pride in being an excellent seamstress, volunteering to make costumes and props for school plays and also for her green thumb. She was a true "Flower Belle." On May 15, 1950, she married Raymond W. Dubas at St. Peters Catholic Church in Fullerton. They lived and farmed north of Fullerton. Betty was employed at Clara's Café in Fullerton for several years and devoted her life to helping her husband on the family farm and raising five children. She took pride in being an excellent seamstress, volunteering to make costumes and props for school plays and also for her green thumb. She was a true "Flower Belle." She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, baking, making special occasion cakes for over 15 years and she was an avid and admired Polka dancer. She loved to make people laugh, often beginning her organization meetings with a joke. Betty enjoyed collecting angels and it reflected in her "angelic" personality. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her husband Ray passed away June 10, 2009. She was a member of and held numerous offices, board member and leadership positions for: St. Peter's Parish, St. Anne's Society, Omaha Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, Christians Encounter Christ, Wall Street Card Club, Wall Street Extension Club, Nance County Fair Board and Flower Belles. Betty was an Extra Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist, APC delegate for 17 years, World Day of Prayer, Leader and organizer, FFA, FHA parent volunteer, 4-H leader for 16 years. She received the State Farmer FFA Parent Award and was recipient of the OACCW's highest honor "The Mullen Award" for 40 years of involvement, service and leadership, Volunteer for Extension and 4-H activities during the Nance County Fair and Cedar Township voter clerk. She was always a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who always put her family first. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim R. and Julie Dubas, of Fullerton, John and Kate Sheldon Dubas, of Plano, Texas, Jerome Dubas, of Hastings; two daughters and son-in-law, Jan Eckholt, of Omaha, Joanne and Mike Blaser, of Columbus; fifteen grandchildren, David (Misty) Dubas, Julie Mangus, Don (Megan) Dubas, Barbara (Josh) Van Leer, Chris (Erin) Eckholt, Shauna (Chris) Eckholt, Jessica (Jimmy) Sledge, Ryan Blaser, Nicole (Jason) King, Heather Blaser, Jason Blaser, Natalie Blaser, Matt Blaser, Morgan Dubas, Landon Dubas; seventeen great-grandchildren, Kali Dubas, Cole Dubas, Cody Mangus, Colt Mangus, Cheyenne Mangus, Micah McGillivray, Damon Dubas, Paige Van Leer, MacKenzie Van Leer, Dominick Van Leer, Jack Eckholt, Cormac Eckholt, Aidyn Blaser, Wyatt Sledge, Owen Sledge, Jocelyn King and Gavin King; one sister and brother-in-law, Marcella and Oren Cobb, of Genoa; and countless friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; two brothers, Bud Supencheck and George Supencheck Jr.; and five sisters, Rosie Hargens, Alfretta Scarlett, Luella Brase, Laura Thomas and Leola Supencheck.
