Description	:	Betty Lou Miller, the daughter of Leonard L. and Mildred Smith Anderson, was born November 6,1928, at home in Alta, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Alta area, graduating from Alta High School in 1946. Betty moved to Storm Lake, Iowa, for a couple of years before she married Dwight Miller on January 19, 1957, in Jackson, Minnesota. Betty enjoyed sewing and quilting. Betty moved to Storm Lake, Iowa, for a couple of years before she married Dwight Miller on January 19, 1957, in Jackson, Minnesota. Betty enjoyed sewing and quilting. She worked at Spencer Super Valu for most of her working years. Betty passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mildred Anderson; one brother, Merlyn Anderson; an infant son, Michael Robert Miller; and son, Steven Leroy Miller. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dwight Miller, of Spencer; two daughters, Susan (Joseph) Malloy of Cumming, Iowa, and Barbara (Mick) Conlon of Snohomish, Washington; one son, Jeff (Kelley) Miller, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Kay (Brian) Jewell, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers were Joseph Malloy, Ben Miller, Zac Miller, Rebecca Miller, Mick Conlon, and Warren Meier. Services were conducted on February 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, Iowa.
