Description	:	Betty Lou Clark, 87, of Pittsburg, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Mediclodge of Pittsburg. She was born July 7, 1929 at Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of William Loyd and Julia (Snow) Black. She graduated from Pittsburg High School. On July 7, 1948, she was united in marriage to Clarence Taylor at Pittsburg. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1971. On June 1, 1973, she married Russel Clark at Fort Scott, Kansas. She was born July 7, 1929 at Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of William Loyd and Julia (Snow) Black. She graduated from Pittsburg High School. On July 7, 1948, she was united in marriage to Clarence Taylor at Pittsburg. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1971. On June 1, 1973, she married Russel Clark at Fort Scott, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1997. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker. She had lived in Uniontown for twenty years before moving to Pittsburg in 1977. Survivors include two nieces, Glenna Jenkins and her husband, Dave of Florida and Diana Turnbull and her husband, Dave of Pittsburg; and a nephew, Keith Roberds of Pittsburg; a step-daughter, Joyce Zimmerman and a step-son, Robert Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and a sister, Lois Roberds. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday (Nov. 28) at the South Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Moss officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Brenner Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to South Broadway Baptist Church. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may also leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.
