Force in Bremerton. They were married for 48 years before Dennis passed away in 2001. Betty was a secretary at View Ridge Elementary in Bremerton for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Washington Order of Rainbow Girls and was the Grand Worthy Advisor in 1948. Betty was a loving wife and mom who enjoyed reading, gardening, a good glass of wine, and spending time with "The Girls." She is preceded in death by her dad; Willis Miner in 1965, mom; Esther Miner in 1994, sister; Shirley Rhodes in 2006 and husband; Dennis R. Force. She is survived by son; Stephen D. Force and wife (Jan) of Bremerton. She Is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 23rd at 11 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations can be made to Summit Ave. Presbyterian Church. Kitsap Sun obit
