Description	:	Betty M. Hoefert 90, of Wessington Springs passed away Sunday evening March 10th at the Weskota Manor Avera. Funeral services were Saturday March 16th at the Foothills Bible Fellowship Church in Wessington Springs with Rev. Don Grubb officiating. Burial was in the Mizpah Cemetery at Plankinton, SD. Betty was born June 7th, 1928 in White Lake, SD to Joseph & Bertha (Wolfe) Anton. Betty graduated from White Lake High School. Hoefert 90, of Wessington Springs passed away Sunday evening March 10th at the Weskota Manor Avera. Funeral services were Saturday March 16th at the Foothills Bible Fellowship Church in Wessington Springs with Rev. Don Grubb officiating. Burial was in the Mizpah Cemetery at Plankinton, SD. Betty was born June 7th, 1928 in White Lake, SD to Joseph & Bertha (Wolfe) Anton. Betty graduated from White Lake High School. She was united in marriage to Ray Hoefert on October 12th, 1953 and from this marriage they had two children, Tom and Connie. They farmed north of Plankinton until Ray’s passing in 2003, when she then moved into an apartment in Wessington Springs. She was a true farm wife and took pride in cooking large meals everyday for the hired men and whoever Tom and Ray invited off the road as they drove by. Betty looked forward to Birthday Club each month to spend time with the neighbor ladies. She enjoyed having family picnics in the park, visiting with family and watching the kids play. Betty loved having her grandchildren over to her home to play Bingo, feed them her famous Butter Pecan Bars, and bake cookies. After she moved to town, she liked to go the Springs Inn to have coffee and lunch every day. She is survived by her daughter Connie (Kelly) and daughter-in-law Joan. Four grandchildren Becki Haiar (Brandon), Cristin Weber (Jason), Kelsey Larson, and Kylan Larson (Fiancé Delaney). Four great-grandchildren Haleigh and Raeleigh Haiar and Hadley and Finley Weber. Many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and special family friends, the Larson family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray and son, Tom, two sisters, Carol Hettinger and Hazel Wilson, and one brother Alvin Anton.
