Description	:	Beulah Elliott Beulah Agnes (Craig) Elliott, a Shelton resident for 25 years, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at her daughter's home in Tacoma. She was 88. Beulah was born July 28, 1916, in Clay Center, Kansas, to Albert and Ora (Chestnut) Craig. Beulah moved to Tacoma, Washington, in 1936. In 1949, making good on a bet, she took the test for the Tacoma Police Department. A month later, she was hired and served until 1962. Read More	Beulah Elliott Beulah Agnes (Craig) Elliott, a Shelton resident for 25 years, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at her daughter's home in Tacoma. She was 88. Beulah was born July 28, 1916, in Clay Center, Kansas, to Albert and Ora (Chestnut) Craig. Beulah moved to Tacoma, Washington, in 1936. In 1949, making good on a bet, she took the test for the Tacoma Police Department. A month later, she was hired and served until 1962. Beulah loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She had a heart of gold, a gift of giving and enjoyed helping those in need. She loved playing the organ and sharing her music with others. She was also an avid Mariners fan. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend John T. Elliott; her father, Albert Craig; her mother, Ora Craig; her brother, Harry Craig; and her sisters, Hazel Craig, Marcelle Krefting, and Adria Herrmann. Beulah is survived by her two daughters; Hazel Duncan of Tacoma, and Bonnie Russell and her husband Bill of Shelton; her one son Harvey Hedman and his wife Jan of Shelton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a great great granddaughter. A memorial service is set for 1:00pm Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Tacoma First Church of the Nazarene, 3640 S. M Street, Tacoma, Washington, 98418.
