Description	:	Beulah was born at home having one older sister and later two younger sisters and a brother. She attended Cass No. 1 where she finished the 8th grade. She later took a short business course. She was baptized on December 16, 1923 and became a member of the New Olivet Presbyterian church. In 1963 she changed her membership to the First United Church o Christ in Tipton. Read More	Beulah was born at home having one older sister and later two younger sisters and a brother. She attended Cass No. 1 where she finished the 8th grade. She later took a short business course. She was baptized on December 16, 1923 and became a member of the New Olivet Presbyterian church. In 1963 she changed her membership to the First United Church o Christ in Tipton. When Farm Bureau and the Extension Service came to Cedar Country she was a county chairwoman for three years, and was a longtime member of the Farm Bureau. In 1928 she organized a girls 4-H club in Cass and Linn townships and it was named Sunshine Circle. She was very active in 4-H Club work for over 15 years being the leader of 75 4-H girls. She also was part of the Cedar County Chorus. She moved to Iowa City and did alterations in a dress shop (Willard's) for nine years. After the death of her father in 1947 she moved back to Tipton to help her mother and worked in Drs Nuccio Chiropractic for seventeen years and caring for her mother during this time at home. Her mother past away in 1970 and she stayed in the house and did alterations in Tipton. Mainly men's pants. She gave up sewing in her mid 90's due to failing vision. While in Tipton she was a member of the Tipton Business and Professional Women and the Ruth Circle of the First United Church of Christ. Beulah never married but had six nieces and one nephew plus twelve great nieces and nephews who called her "BuBu" and adored her. Beulah died on December 24, 2003, six days short of turning 105. She enjoyed all of the 1900's. Services were held at the First United Church of Christ in Tipton with Pastor David Lorenzen officiating. Nancy Hipple was the organist. Casket Bearers were Curtis Bothel, Jim Dodds, Randy Schutterle, David Tripp, George Hein, Steve Evans. Honorary Casket Bearers were Claude Mitchell, Guy Buttz, and Jack Glassinger.
