Allison of the same city, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Polson, journey to Corning just ahead of the snow storm, for the purpose of getting married in a good and lucky town for such events. After securing the necessary state papers, they went to the M.E. parsonage where the services of Rev. E.A. Moore were secured to say the service that would make them husband and wife and the ceremony was performed at 3 o’clock. They returned to Prescott the same evening, where they are receiving the hearty congratulations and well wishes of their friends for a long, happy, and prosperous journey on the matrimonial sea. They will begin housekeeping in a short time at Prescott, where the groom has a position as clerk in the Johnson hardware store. They journeyed to Corning and were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Polson. Mrs. Polson is a sister of the bride. Rev. E.A. Moore performed the ceremony at the M.E. parsonage. A wedding supper was given at the home of the bride. Mrs. Wilson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Allison. Mr. Wilson is the youngest son of Mrs. William Wilson. They will make their home in Prescott. They are receiving the congratulations of friends. Adams County Free Press Thu, Dec 18, 1952, Corning, IA: Beulah Wilso Beulah June Allison Wilson was born June 23, 1886 in Adams County, Iowa, the daughter of W.S. and Emma J. Allison. She passed away at her home in Prescott, Iowa, December 5, 1952, from a heart attack, having lived all her life in Adams County. She united with the Methodist church in Prescott a number of years ago and was a member in good standing at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, George Wilson, one sister, Mrs. Eva Polson of Pampa Texas, one brother, W.H. Allison of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lulu Johnson of Corning, Iowa; Mrs. Maude Carey of Winterset, Iowa, and Mrs. W.H. Allison of Chicago, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Prescott Tuesday, December 9, at 2:00 pm, conducted by Rev. J.A.E. Cunningham. Music was by Mrs. Glen Tucker and Mrs. Ray Campbell, with Mrs. Fred Moon, pianist. Pallbearers were F.A. Williams, Garner Thompson, Kimball Bennett, Art Cole, Berry Daniel, and Lynn Antbdel. Flower bearers were Mrs. Alfred Lundhigh and Mrs. Garner Thompson. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Prescott.
