Born October 22, 1959, in Athens, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Antle) Birtcher and the late Neil Martin Welch, Sr. She was employed at People's Bank of Nelsonville, where she worked for the past 36 years. Read More	THE PLAINS — Beverlee Lynn Antle, 55, The Plains, died unexpectedly Friday, November 7, 2014, at her home. Born October 22, 1959, in Athens, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Antle) Birtcher and the late Neil Martin Welch, Sr. She was employed at People's Bank of Nelsonville, where she worked for the past 36 years. She loved to do bead work, amateur photography, hunting, fishing, and going out to Dow Lake to read her books. She was a member of the Katala Okolakiciye Winyan', a Lakota Women's Society, and attended ceremonies at Pine Ridge and Standing Rock Reservations. She is survived by her mother; sisters, Patricia (Bill) Layne of Columbus, and Mary (Sam) Lewis of Albany; brothers, William (Kathy) Antle of Columbus, and James Antle of Athens; and five half-sisters, Linda (Don) Hampshire of Versailles, Ohio, Gloria (Paul) Keirns of Amesville, Marcia Welch and Donna Crofoot of Athens and Ginny (Jim) Cairney of Indianapolis, Indiana; three half-brothers, Larry Welch of Ladson, South Carolina, Roger Welch of Union Kentucky, Gary Welch in Pennsylvania; a special friend, Debra Love of The Plains; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her father and grandparents, she was preceded in death by three half-brothers, Neil Martin Welch Jr, Ralph Edward Welch, and Charles Welch; stepfather, Vernon Albert Birtcher; and aunt, Harriet (Antle) Welch. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home with Willard Love officiating. Burial will be in Canaanville Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from noon until time of service.
