Description	:	Beverly A. Brandenburger, 76, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 12, in Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Church with burial in Graceland Cemetery in Shelby. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Church followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services Tuesday at St. Rose. She was a devoted mother... Read More	Beverly A. Brandenburger, 76, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 12, in Lincoln. Beverly was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Silver Creek, to Clifford and Grace (Dick) Merrill. After graduation from high school, Beverly married Ed Brandenburger in 1950 in Silver Creek. She was a devoted mother and also worked outside the home as a cook. She was a member of the VFW, the Silver Creek and Krakow Altar Societies, bowled in several leagues and belonged to card clubs. She loved to garden, fish, and be with her family. Beverly is survived by six daughters: Patricia (Doug) Cuddeford of Albuquerque, N.M., Monica (Jay) Wright of Genoa, Marcia (Richard) Kula of St. Edward, Julie (Philip) Schornack of Columbus, Deborah Van Daam of Columbus, and Joan (James) Reeg of Genoa; three sons: Thomas (Millie) Brandenburger of Genoa, Dave Brandenburger of Grand Island and Mike Brandenburger of Octavia. In addition, she is survived by brothers Keith Merrill of Columbus and Jack (Maggie) Merrill of Silver Creek; sister, Barbara (Dale) Van Dyke of Columbus; sisters-in-law Kathy Merrill of Alliance and Lois Merrill of Platte Center; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bonnie Merrill and brothers Paul Dean Merrill, Allen Merrill and Max Merrill, and special friend, Dave "Boog" Johansen. Memorials are suggested in care of the family. Arrangements by Rice Funeral Home in Genoa.
