Funeral services were held on Monday, October 28, 2002, at 2:30 PM from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, NE with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Sturdy officiating. Read More	Beverly Beth Myers, the daughter of Grover and Doris (Kramer) Burkett, was born on December 31, 1941 (sic), at Nelson, Nebraska. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 28, 2002, at 2:30 PM from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, NE with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Sturdy officiating. Beverly was Baptized in 1941 and Confirmed in 1954, both at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Ruskin, NE. Beverly attended Ruskin Public Schools. She was selected to attend Girls State and was Salutatorian of her class graduating in 1958. On April 21, 1963 she was united in marriage to Clayton Myers at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Ruskin. This union was blessed with three children. Beverly was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #7179. Her hobbies included cross stitch, jig saw and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed watching her grandson play baseball, football and wrestling games. The family gatherings were also very important to her. Beverly was loved by many and will be missed by all. Preceding her in death were her parents, an infant brother, Larry Lee and an infant son. Survivors include her husband Clay of Nelson, NE. a daughter, Jodi McLaughlin and husband John of Hastings, and a son Darren of Tecumseh, NE; one grandson Joshua John McLaughlin; sisters, Pam Buresh and husband Tom of Davenport, NE and Candas Deepe of Hebron, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Music was "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Lord's Prayer", with Mary Hamburger as organist. Pallbearers were Tony Deepe, Travis Deepe, Trenton Deepe, Chad Buresh, Austin Buresh and Jon Myers. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, NE. Memorials may be sent to the American Kidney Fund. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home of Nelson, NE was in charge of the arrangements.
