Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in memory. Beverly Diane Werling was born September 6, 1932, in Cedar County, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Highly) Werling. She graduated from Tipton High School with the Class of 1950. She married Kenneth Henry Oldham on November 8, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton. Together they farmed south of Tipton. Kenneth preceded her in death on January 21, 1982. She continued to live on the farm, until she moved to Tipton. She was employed at Tipton State Bank (US Bank) for 20 years, until her retirement in 2007. She was also the church secretary for several years. She enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye men’s basketball games and going to the casino with her friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Kings Daughters. She was an avid card player in numerous card clubs, enjoyed golfing at the Tipton Golf and Country Club and spending the evenings with The Friday Night Gang. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by three sons, Steve (Rena) Oldham of Ransom Canyon, TX, and David (Beth) Oldham and Dale (significant other Kris) Oldham, both of Tipton; three grandchildren, Chad (Cara) Oldham, Jaclyn (Jarod) Bormann, and Peyton Oldham; and five great-grandchildren, Braxton, Tenley, and Jace Bormann and Aubrey and Dane Oldham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Marilyn Werling and two brothers, Bryce and Eldon Werling. The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Manor Nursing Home and the Iowa City Hospice for their personal care given to Beverly. Fry Funeral Home
