She was born October 15, 1933 in Selma, IA to David and Marjorie Kunsman Roush. She married Ross Wells in 1953 and they later divorced. She married Richard Langstraat on December 27, 1976. She was born October 15, 1933 in Selma, IA to David and Marjorie Kunsman Roush. She married Ross Wells in 1953 and they later divorced. She married Richard Langstraat on December 27, 1976. Growing up in Bladensburg, Beverly was a graduate of Selma High School. She had worked for Gamrath-Doyle Insurance in Fairfield and a nurse at Good Samaritan in Ottumwa. Beverly was a member of First Church of the Open Bible in Ottumwa. She enjoyed helping other people. She operated "His Hands Extended" where others could get free clothing. Beverly was known as "Cookie Grandma". She loved to garden, put on Thanksgiving dinner each year for the entire family. Her chicken and noodles were amazing. Beverly read the Christmas story from the Bible each year and yodeled, her family was everything to her. Beverly is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Mike Wells of Keswick, Allen Wells of Martinsburg and Deb Wharton of Batavia; children by marriage, Daniel (Vic) Langstraat of Oskaloosa, Terry (Becky) Langstraat of Cedar and Tim (Becky) Langstraat of University Park; 13 grandchildren, Amy, David, Dustin, Lisa, Jack, Ryan, Cody, Ryan, Brad, Chad, Aaron, Lisa and Jeremy; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dixie (Joe) Stump of Selma. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Travis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. Visitation with the family present will be 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Open Bible. Published on June 15, 2018
