Born on February 1, 1935 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Claude Peyton Hembree, Sr. and the late Cora Bell Loftis Hembree. He was the devoted husband of Olga "Archie" Baldwin Hembree, of the residence. Mr. Hembree retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. Read More	Billy Frank Hembree February 1, 1935 - January 23, 2014 Anderson, SC Billy Frank Hembree, age 78, of Anderson, passed away at Hospice of the Upstate on January 23, 2014. Born on February 1, 1935 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Claude Peyton Hembree, Sr. and the late Cora Bell Loftis Hembree. He was the devoted husband of Olga "Archie" Baldwin Hembree, of the residence. Mr. Hembree retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. He was a longtime, faithful member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he had served as a deacon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Strickland and her husband Ronnie, of Anderson; one grandchild, Jonathan Hembree and his wife Justa, of Anderson; one great-grandchild, Jace Hembree of Anderson; two brothers, Charles Hembree and his wife Debra of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Claude P. Hembree, Jr and his wife Cathy of Liberty, SC; two sisters, Joann Baxter and her husband Bobby of Anderson and Bonnie Sue Sutherland of Belton, SC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hembree was preceded in death by one brother, James Hembree. The funeral service for Mr. Hembree will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Brent Lollis and Layman Harry Osbourne officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his daughter, 111 Aycock Dr, Anderson, SC. Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, 711 Glenn Street, Anderson, SC 29625.
