Read More	Bill "Bane-O" Bane Billy Joe "Bane-O" Bane, died on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at his home in Eureka at the age of 57. He was born on April 29, 1954, in Eureka, the son of John Henry and Leona Ruth (Scott) Bane. He was raised in Eureka and attended local schools. After his schooling he worked in the oilfields, later as a farmhand, a roofer, and finally for the City of Eureka. He has been disabled since 2009. Bane-O is survived by his brother, Jerry Bane of Navarre, Florida; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert Jones; sister, Judy Lawrence; and sister, Linda Sue Bane. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2011 at Koup Family Funeral Home with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation hours are from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to VFW Post #2712. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements
