Description	:	Blain was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward, NE. He attended country school at districts 27 and 83, and graduated in 1972 from St. Edward High School. Following his high school graduation, Blain attended the University of Nebraska earning a bachelor’s degree in 1976 and a master’s degree in 1977, both in Ag Education. Following their marriage, they lived in Stanton, St. Edward, Milford, Dorchester, and Platte Center, NE, where they had been living since 2005. Blain touched and inspired many lives, having taught ag at Stanton, science at Lindsey Holy Family, ag at St. Edward, science at Dorchester, and for the past 11 years, was a biology instructor at Central Community College in Columbus, NE. As well as teaching, he coached girls basketball at Lindsey, boys and girls basketball at Dorchester, and was an assistant women’s basketball coach at the college. Blain led a very active life, being involved in such activities as: refereeing basketball, a Platte County Fair Horse and Sheep Superintendent, a member of the Midwest Barrel Racing Association and attended the Columbus Berean Church. He was very passionate about teaching and the game of basketball, and enjoyed barrel racing, pole bending, horse training, and a million other horse related activities. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Platte Center, NE; children: Marcus Condreay and wife Kiley Mackie of Kenai, AK; Joel Condreay and fiancé Christie DeVries of Lincoln, NE; Sheri Tremain and husband Matt of Dayton, WY; Christina Condreay and husband Aaron Tharp of Baumholder, Germany; three grandchildren: Braxton, Savannah, and Tyson Tremain, all of Dayton, WY; one brother: Lynn Condreay and wife Chris of St. Edward, NE; one uncle: Guy Condreay and wife Veryle of Kent, WA; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother: Loel; and an infant sister: Cyrell.
