Burton, 84, a longtime resident of Webster City, died at 6:15 this morning at the Hamilton County Hospital where she had been a patient since May 20. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Heath oficiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Blanche Aurora Burton, daughter of Orlando and Addie Burton, was born March 28, 1879, on a farm southeast of Webster City. She was educated in the Webster City schools and grew to young womanhood in this community. With the exception of seven years, during which time she and her sister, the late Gertrude Burton, made their home in San Diego, Calif., she had always resided in Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister who died in infancy, one sister, Gertrude, who died in 1959, and one brother, Edgar. She is survived by one grand nephew, Edgar W. Burton, and his two daughters, Nancy and Jane Burton, all of South St. Paul, Minn. For many years Miss Burton and her sister operated the Sunbeam Sunday School on the east side of Webster city.
