Mrs. Madson, who is the mother of Ted Madson of Nelson was 70 years of age. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Klawitter Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Schwartz officiating. =================================== The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, December 7, 1967; pg. 5 Blanche Eva Madson was born March 9, 1897, in Nelson, Nebr., the daughter of Aaron and Mary E. Mellick. On January 12, 1919, she was married to Mogens Madson at Nelson. To this union one son was born. Mrs. Madson was baptized in the Nelson Christian Church at an early age. She resided in the Nelson vicinity all of her life. Mrs. Madson passed away November 29, 1967, at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, where she had been a patient since Octomber (sic) 4, 1967. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers, two half sisters and one step-brother. Survivors are her husband, one son, Ted Madson of Nelson, two sisters, Mrs. Vivian Crane of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Mrs. Jessie Kramer of Hastings, Nebr., one brother, Bert of Kalispell, Montana, two grandchildren, Terry and Mickey Madson and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Klawitter chapel in Nelson with Rev. Victor Schwarz officiating. Casket bearers were Bill Morehead, Morris Anderson, Ivan Troudt, Verel Whiteley, Alfred Flowers and Raymond Amack. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery, with arrangements by the Klawitter chapel in Nelson son (sic).
