Description	:	*Blanche Stonecipher Hill*, age 88, of Elizabethton, TN, formerly of Nebo, NC and Hampton, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was a daughter of the late Coy C. Greene and Nora B. Guy Greene. Though born in Avery County, NC, she spent her entire childhood in Carter County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Stonecipher; her second husband, William D. Hill; one son, Barry Stonecypher; five sisters, Violet Lyons, Ella Whitehead, Betty Owens, Mary Isabelle Greene, Modest Creasey; and two brothers, Edgar Greene and William T. Greene. A service to honor the life of Blanche Stonecipher Hill will be conducted at 7 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.
