She graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1915 and attended Kearney Normal School. She taught in the King and Brock School districts near Pleasanton. She and Clarence "Tommy" Reese were married September 2, 1919 in Sidney.They lived on a farm near Pleasanton until moving into Pleasanton in 1975. Blanche remained in Pleasanton until moving to Mother Hull Home in 1986. She was a member of the Pleasanton United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge and a 44-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pleasanton. Survivors include sisters, Anna Hadwiger and Leona Franke, both of Pleasanton; brother Dean Zimmer of Pleasanton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy; a daughter, Delores Gallagher; and a son, Duane Reese; and three brothers.
