A private memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Miller’s Chapel Cemetery, Keosauqua, Van Buren County, Iowa. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is assisting the family. Memorials may be given in her name to the American Red Cross and Genesis Hospice in Davenport. Blanche Vaunceil Kisling was born July 20, 1914, in rural Van Buren County, the daughter of Willard and Allie Siefert Kisling. On April 2, 1934, she married Lloyd Edward Keller in Fairfield. He died on September 15, 1966. She graduated from Stockport High School and attended the Iowa State Teachers College. Vaunceil worked at Barnes Super Value and Bowman-Coldwell in Monmouth, Illinois, for many years. She was a previous member of the Church of the Nazarene, Monmouth and Aledo, Illinois, current member of Church of Christ, Muscatine, Gray Lady for Red Cross Blood Donor Program, and served in various church positions developing ministry to senior citizens in Monmouth, Illinois. She was famous for her homemade noodles. She enjoyed supporting her children’s activities and helping others to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents, three spouses, Lloyd Keller, Morin Schaeffer, Ralph Hungerford, a brother and two sisters
