He was born March 31, 1932 at Bradshaw to Carl George and Grace Mae (Gue) Hoeft. On April 29, 1953 he was married to Joan Henrietta Snider at her parents' home at Lushton. Read More	The following has been contributed by Find a Grave member Jennifer Faust: Bobby Lee Hoeft Sr., 79, of Hastings, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Grand Island. He was born March 31, 1932 at Bradshaw to Carl George and Grace Mae (Gue) Hoeft. On April 29, 1953 he was married to Joan Henrietta Snider at her parents' home at Lushton. Bobby was a longtime farmer having farmed in the Grafton area for over 20 years. He was then involved in farm sales for 20 years as well. For seven years he was an orderly at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Bobby was an Army veteran serving in the 469th Aviation Battalion Company A. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 at Fairmont, the Grafton Volunteer Fire Department, was a missionary on St. Mark's Medical Missionary Team to Mexico, a volunteer at the Clinic With A Heart in Lincoln and loved to camp. He was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings. His pride and joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Joan; his daughter, Kathy (Steve) Warren; son, Bobby (Kathy Temme) Hoeft Jr; daughter, Tracy (Bill) Hoeft-Hoffman; daughter, Jamie (Kenny) Morton; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Bud (Vi) Hoeft and Donald Hoeft; two sisters, Joan Hunche and Judy (Larry) Johnson; sister-in-law, Lois Hoeft; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Shirley Pinneo; brothers, Maynard Hoeft and Dennis Hoeft; brothers-in-law, Marvin Hunche and Willard Pinneo; sister-in-law, Joyce Hoeft; and a foster son, Jeff Peterson. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Fairmont Community Church with burial in the Grafton Cemetery with military honors.
