He married Mae Helen Todd on December 24, 1952 and she preceded him in death August 27, 2015. Mr. Pinckley was a minister at Waynesboro Church of Christ where he was a member. He was a member of the Lion's Club and Freed-Hardeman Alumni Association. He had lived in Clarksburg, TN, Memphis, TN, Henderson, TN, Nashville, TN, Waynesboro, TN, Sitka, TN, Cherokee, AL, Parsons, TN and again in Waynesboro, TN. Survivors, are sons, Robert Wayne Pinckley, wife, Darlene of Clarksville, TN and David Allen Pinckley of Madison, AL; daughters, Wanda Sue Pinckley Wentworth, husband, Carver of Decaturville, TN and Amy Elizabeth Pinckley Burks, husband, Ronnie and Joy Helen Pinckley Canterbury, husband, Dave all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Bethany Livingston, Ben Williams, Brennen Williams, Jay Burks, Melanie Pope, Austin Burks, Todd Pinckley, Andrea Parks, Kenneth Pinckley, Justin Pinckley, Steven Pinckley, Joshua Canterbury and Braden Canterbury; great-grandchildren, Carson Williams, Charlie Williams, Ella Mae Pinckley, Blayne Pinckley, Bryson Pinckley, Izzy Pope, Ava Burks and Evan Pope; sister, Pauline Lewis of Parkers Crossroads, TN; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Pinckley of Hendersonville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Betty Todd of Parsons, TN; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Pinckley was preceded in death by son, Kenneth Lee Pinckley; brothers, Eddie, Walter and Johnnie Pinckley; sisters, Adell Adams, Raymelle Todd and Irevene McDaniel. Memorial services will be Friday, September 15, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Waynesboro Church of Christ, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Roan's Creek Church of Christ, Yuma, TN with Wayne Pinckley and Jay Burks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday, September 15, 2017 from 2 pm until the memorial service at Waynesboro Church of Christ then on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 12 noon until service time at Roan's Creek Church of Christ, Yuma, TN. Pallbearers will be Ben Williams, Brennen Williams, Todd Pinckley, Kenneth Pinckley, Jay Burks, Austin Burks, Justin Pinckley, Steven Pinckley, Joshua Canterbury and Braden Canterbury.
