Miner Sunday, August 19, 2007 WILLIAMSFIELD — Bonita M. Miner, age 97, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Andover Village Retirement Community in Andover, Ohio. Born April 7, 1910, in Gustavus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late, William and Flora (Logan) Morford and Bonnie married the late, Lyle E. Miner on Jan. 16, 1933. A 1929 Wayne High School graduate, she was a lifetime area resident and lived in Williamsfield for the past ten years. Bonnie worked at the basket factory in Wayne and Williamsfield for many years and was employed at the manufacturing plant for shellcasings during the war. She was a member of the Wayne Congregational Church, the Ladies Missionary Society, and was a 73 year member of the Richfield, State, and National Grange. An avid Cleveland Indians fan, Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and sewing, her family and helping others. She is survived by her son, Leslie (Gerry) Miner of Westerville, Ohio; her daughter, Ardis May of Williamsfield, Ohio, whom she made her home with the last 10 years; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Brad) Launderville of Champlin, Minn., Stephanie (Jerry) Walker of Westerville, Ohio, Maureen Miner of Westerville, Ohio, Gary (Shari) May of Spicer, Minn., Cheryl (Scott) Spencer of Andover, Ohio and Douglas (Jennifer) May of Clintonvile, Pa.; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many close relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, in 1976 and two brothers, Floyd and Merle Morford. A Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with pastor Lori Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Wayne, Ohio. Calling Hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007.
